Abstract

Today, the agriculture sector in Egypt accounts 38% of the labour force and this proportion is can be increased in the future inappropriately, the natural resources face big pressures from population explosion ( a population of approximately 100 million with a increasing grown at a rate of 1.9% per year) and continuing land degradation.In addition, most of these people are concentrate in the Nile river basin and delta.Therefore the natural resources management, in Egypt is very important to sustain food delivers and to achieve agriculture sustainability.Egypt needs to increase its agricultural production in order to feed the fast-growing population and to produce raw materials for local industry and export sufficient quantities to sustain a healthy economy.Accordingly, the proper planning of land use should be established.
