Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of prevailing climatic conditions on human{u201F}s thermal comfort and its impact on the tourism in the northeast Libya, The study tries to apply some standards for measuring the thermal comfort therefore the focus was on several climatic indices including: Temperature humidity index (Thom), leading to determining the levels of comfort in feeling of area. The study leads to a number of results, the best area of thermal human comfort was found in Shahat. The areas of Jalo and Jaghbub face thermal discomfort. The months of May and October are the best comfortable months. Whereas January, February and December are the most discomfort. The best season for human comfort is autumn. It is found that there is imparity in the number of the perfect comfort according to each index
