Abstract

Writing plays an important role in real life. Writing is needed at the school environment not only as a tool for transferring knowledge from teacher to students or from students to students, but also as one of English skills that should be mastered by students. Writing is the mean which enables humans to communicate and express their feelings and thoughts. Writing also is important for both teachers and students. For teachers, writing helps them to identify their student’s personality, style and level of learning. For students, writing encourages creativity by helping them to use their imaginations, explore possibilities, and to acquire problem solving skills (Walker, 2012).
