Abstract Nanomaterial is the reengineering of the atomic levels of materials by controlling in the shape and size and production of different components that have a various properties [1]. One of the important properties that make nanomaterial different compare to bulk materials is the fact that nanomaterials have a large surface area that makes it more reactive material than bulk. This property makes it used for various applications, such as carbon nanotubes that have a very high strength due to the higher surface area than original materials. Nanomaterials have several properties such as magnetic, electrical, mechanical and optical [2] that enable it to use in various applications. Gold nanoparticles with 2 nm have various properties compared to gold particles, such as their melting can be lowered from 10600 oC to6000 oC. Nanomaterials helping to develope many sectors of technology and industry such as information technology, homeland security, medicine, transportation, energy, food safety, environmental science and biomedical application including tissue engineering, drug delivery and bio-sensor [3]. |
