Abstract Over seven years, we identified 58 children with HRTD. The most common disorders were DRTA and Bartter syndrome, and the most common presenting manifestations were FTT, developmental delay, and dehydration episodes. Most children had improved growth with appropriate management and had preserved renal function. These data enhance our knowledge on HRTD in southern Egypt and are crucial for increasing pediatricians’ awareness for timely management, which is essential for better outcome. |
