Abstract Effect of spark timing advance on a bi-fuel engine running with CNG was studied to determine the impact on fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, results showed that there is an inverse relationship between fuel consumption and exhaust emissions on the one hand and the spark timing advance from the other hand, effect of adsorption on CNG storage was studied, results showed that there{u2019}s an increase of stored natural gas up to 70 bar, and there{u2019}s no positive effect on at higher pressures, this technique make it possible to manufacture CNG cylinders with less manufacturing requirements than their current counterparts |
