Abstract
This thesis is concerned with the analysis of some amide linkage containing drugs namely aliskiren hemifumarate and amlodipine besylate in their combined form. It is also concerned with azilsartan medoxomil determination in presence of its degradation products. The aim of the present work was the development of accurate, precise, sensitive, selective and applicable analytical procedures for the analysis of the aforementioned drugs in their combinations or in presence of their degradation products and the adaptation of those procedures to their quantitative determination in pharmaceutical dosage forms. The proposed methods can be used for routine work and quality control analysis of the cited drugs in bulk powder and in pharmaceutical formulations. Also, stability studies of Azilsartan medoxomil can be incorporated in stress degradation studies of the drug and can be used to check for its extent of degradation in pharmaceutical dosage forms
