Abstract
This thesis consists of four parts Part One: General Introduction This part comprises introduction about bone disorders, its cause, therapy, mechanism of action, classification and information about the studied drugs. Part Two: Determination of Ibuprofen and Famotidine This part is divided into three sections: Section A: Literature Review This section includes an introduction about Ibuprofen (IBU), Famotidine (FAM) and different reported methods used for their determination. Section B: Spectrophotometric Determination of Ibuprofen and Famotidine In this section, a study of different analytical techniques is described for the determination of IBU and FAM. FAM can be directly determined without interference with IBU at 286.6 nm, while IBU can{u2019}t because of interference from FAM. Therefore 4 methods are presented for determination of IBU in the presence of FAM
