Abstract Undescended testis ( Cryptorchidism ) is a developmental disorder in which one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum and are retained in the abdomen or the inguinal canal. This is one of the most common urogenital anomalies of childhood affecting 1.8{u2013}4% of full term boys. The main causes of cryptochidism include: congenital anomalies of testis, invalid junctions between testicle, epididymis and vas deferens, hormonal Disorders and anatomic obstacles (e.g. Inguinal hernia) [1&6]. Cryptorchidism treatment includes hormonal therapy and/or operative methods [7]. In this study we aim to evaluate the Effect of HCG injection as a hormonal therapy on the position and the size of undescended testis |
