المستخلص
This thesis deals with the masks in Greco-Roman Egypt and their different uses, since masks - especially the funerary masks or mummy masks - are the most distinguished aspect of the artistic and civil incorporation between these two deep rooted civilizations.
Asmummy masks were formed and painted in a Greco-Roman style regarding to the hairstyles jewelry, and formal costumes and attached to mummies decorated in the Egyptian tradition. The research discusses the funerary masks from the first century BC to the beginning of the fourth century AD,
