Abstract This thesis presents new formulations for structure dynamics using the boundary element method and divided into two main topics. The first topic presents a new efficient finite element for dynamic analysis of plane elasticity and for plate bending problems. This new element is based on the use of a relevant fundamental solution as a trial function. In the second topic, formulations for the dynamic analysis of elasticity problems using the indirect boundary element method are presented. The transformation of the domain integrals to the boundary is done using the dual reciprocity methods (DRM). |
