Abstract
The present study is a one year double blind randomized controlled clinical trial aimed to assess the effect of steroid pulse therapy versus low dose steroid in treatment of viral encephalitis and to improve the outcome in pediatric patients who admitted to Assuit University Children Hospital in the period from the start of January 2021 up to the end of December 2021. The study included 100 pediatric patients with confirmed viral encephalitis.
