Abstract Cities are living entities that change and grow throughout time. As a result, numerous measures must be made in a more sustainable manner to maintain the uniqueness and character of historic cities.The city of Rosetta (Rashid in Arabic) is regarded as one of Egypt’s most important historical cities, ranking second only to historic Cairo in terms of Islamic monuments. Rosetta (Rashid) is best known for the Rosetta stone, which was discovered in the Qayitbay castle in 1799. |
