Abstract

Bullying is prevalent among medical sector students. Females bullied / being bullied by other students more than males. The majority of students bullying others or being bullied said that this happened only once or twice.
Bullying is prevalent among students from Faculty of Medicine either as bullies or victims more than all other medical students from other faculties involved in our study.
The study results show that as victims; verbal and relational bullying are most prevalent among males while social bullying is the most prevalent among females while as bullies; verbal bullying is most prevalent among both males and females.
According to the interpretation of beck youth depression and anxiety scales, scores are higher among females and the greatest proportion of the total sample is among levels of low anxiety and mild depression where the greatest proportion in both scales is among females.
