The study aimed at providing a proposal for developing the leadership roles of teachers pf Azhari secondary institutes in light of the requirements of the digital age. The study used the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire was used as a tool that was applied to a sample of teachers of Al-Azhar secondary institutes in the governorates of Cairo, Assiut and Menoufia, their number was 416 teachers.The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are:-The degree of availability of the teacher’s leadership roles came with a mean (2.00), i.e a medium degree, and his roles outside the classroom with his colleagues, the school administration and the surrounding environment were in the first order with a mean (2.06), followed by “the teacher’s roles towards the learning material” with a mean (1.99), and finally his roles With his students with a mean (1.95).-The severity of the obstacles that hinder teachers from performing their leadership roles in light of the requirements of the digital age was moderately high, with a mean (2.22).-The importance of the requirements for teachers to play their leadership roles in light of the requirements of the digital age was at a high degree, with a mean (2.40).-The study concluded with a proposal for developing the leadership roles of teachers of Azhari secondary institutes in light of the demands of the digital age.
