Abstract This present work concerns with preparation of metal oxides nanoparticles (NPs) using green synthesis as an eco-friendly method where the prepared material has low toxicity. This method improves the properties of photocatalytic properties by reducing recombination and increases their efficiency to wastewater treatment of contaminated water with an organic compound. The object of this work was classified into three parts as follows. Part one: Deals with preparing Nano metal oxides photocatalyst (titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and Tin dioxide) using both chemical and green methods, using three different plants extracts (pomegranate-beetroot-Seder). The crystal structure, morphology and optical properties of the given NPS and the effect of both of these characteristics on photocatalytic efficiency in water treatment of organic pollutants by using both ultraviolet light and sunlight were studied. Apply the best photocatalyst in wastewater treatment for the pulp and paper waste industry. Part two: Concerns with preparing couples of nano-oxides using green method (pomegranate extract only). The Crystal structure, morphology and optical properties of the given NPs were studied. The effect of these detected characteristics on photocatalytic efficiency in water treatment of organic pollutants using both ultraviolet light and sunlight were studied. Part three: Concerns with preparing ternary nano-oxides using green method (Pomegranate extract only) and study crystal structure, morphology and optical properties of the given NPS. Study the effect of these characteristics on photocatalytic efficiency in water treatment of organic pollutants using both ultraviolet light and sunlight |
