Abstract Background: Healthcare safety should not only focus on improving patient safety alone, but should also focus on improving workers and working environment safeties. There was no agreed definition for quality in dentistry in comparison to quality In health care. Though, dental healthcare quality improvement need more studies to collect data and fill the gap and to develop more valid quality and safety measuring instruments.Aim: Enhance safety in Dentistry outpatient clinicsMethodology: Operational research intervention study conducted at two Dental Outpatient Clinics at Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University. System analysis of dental safety in both clinics was done using reviewing of governing system, observational checklists and Knowledge, Attitude and Practices (KAP) questionnaire of Dental Health Care Personnel (DHCP); 106 senior dental students and interns, 30 staff, 10 nurses, 5 workers and 7 technicians. A whole site training was designed on hazardous material safety for dental nurses, workers and technicians in both clinics.
