Abstract
Two filed experiments were conducted at a Farm in Nubaria Region, El- Behira Governorate, Egypt during 2018 and 2019 seasons, to evaluate performance of some maize genotypes and their crosses for agronomic yield, yield components and amino acids content as well as to estimate the heterotic of all studied traits in maize parents and their crosses. Also, to determine the general and specific combining ability for 21 maize genotypes. The grains of the maize genotypes were gained by Misr High Tech International Seed Co. SAE which obtained from Agricultural Extension - Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation. The grains were sown on May 15th and 810th of 2018 and 2019 seasons, respectively.
