Abstract

The present study was carried out at the experimental farm of Itay ELBaroud Agriculture Research Station during the two summer seasons of 2017 and 2018 to examine the effect of the three planting dates 1st May, 20th May and 10th June and foilar spray with 100, 200 and 300 ppm of silicon an addition to the control treatment on seed yield and seed quality of the commercial soybean cv. Giza 21. The obtained results could be summarized as follows:
1- Effect of planting dates on growth traits, chlorophyll content, seed yield and yield component traits and seed chemical compositions of soybean cv. Giza111 during the two summer seasons of 2017 and 2018.
1-a- Effect of planting dates on growth traits, i.e. maturity date, plant height, number of branches/ plant average and root length of soybean cv. Giza111 during the two summer seasons of 2017 and 2018.
