Abstract

The present study was carried out at the Experimental Farm, Etai El-
Baroud Agric. Research Station, A. R. C., El-Beheira Governorate, Egypt
during the two successive growing seasons 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 to
study the i21sz7nfluence of mineral and bio- nitrogen fertilization on three
bread wheat varieties under five Nitrogen fertilizer levels.
The results can be summarized as follows:
- The three varieties of wheat were significantly differed in days to
heading and flag leaf area during the first and second seasons. While,
significantly differed in the second season only in days to physiological
maturity. The highest values of days to heading were given from Sakha
93 and Misr 1 in the first and second seasons, respectively. While, the
lowest values were taken from Sids 12 cultivar during the two studied
seasons, respectively. On the other hand, Sakha 93 cultivar given
highest value of days to physiological maturity and the lowest value
taken from Sids 12 cultivar in the second season.
- The three tested varieties were significantly differed in flag leaf area.
The highest values were obtained from Sids 12 and Misr 1 in the first
and second season, respectively. Whereas, the lowest values were
taken from Misr-1 in the first season and Sids 12 in the second season.
- days to heading, days to maturity and flag leaf area were significantly
and gradually increased by increasing nitrogen fertilization supported
with cerealein from zero up to 100 kg. Its noticed that the highest values
were taken at 100 kg N/ fed and the lowest at control in the 1st and 2nd
seasons.
- The three tested wheat varieties were significantly varied in both of
crop growth rate and relative growth rate in the first and second season.
Sids 12 variety was superiority of each other. While, Sakha 93 variety
gave lowest numbers in the two investigated seasons.
- crop growth rate and relative growth rate were significantly in
gradually from 0 up to 100 kg N/feddan in the two investigated seasons.
- Three tested wheat varieties had significance at 5% in relative plant
height during the two investigated seasons the highest plants were
noticed of Misr-1 in the first and second season and shortest variety
was recorded in Sids 12 in the 1st and 2nd seasons.
- Plant height was significantly increased by increasing N. fertilization
supported with cerealin from zero up to 100 kg N/fed the two studied
seasons.
- the three evaluated varieties were significantly varied in each other’s in
yield components characters i.e., number of spikes/m2 and spike length
