Abstract

Two inorganic nanoparticles / metal organic framework Nanocomposites
(INPs/MOF);MNPS/MOF composite{Ag/SC1}, and magnetic MONPs/MOF Nano-composite {Fe3O4/SC1} have been synthesized at
ambient conditions. The Nano-sized supramolecular complex SC1
{[Cu2(CN)3(phen)3]5H2O}was prepared by self-assembly method, at room temperature and under ultrasonic radiations to obtain Nano-sized
multidimensional metal organic framework. The prepared MOF SC1 used as
a base to successfully incorporate two different kinds of inorganic nanoparticles, silver nanoparticles AgNPs and magnetic metal oxide
nanoparticles (magnetite nanoparticles) Fe3O4NPs. The two Nanocomposites
were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and spectroscopic methods. The catalytic activities, for Nano-sized SC1, Fe3O4 and the Nano-composites Ag/SC1 and Fe3O4/SC1 as heterogeneous catalysts, against Methylene Blue (MB) dye and two commercial dyes were evaluated and compared
