Abstract The aim of the present research was to investigate the effect of using inverted education on developing some reading skills in English as a foreign language for tenth grade High school students in Kuwait. The participants were (60) tenth grade High school students at Ajyal Al-Mustaqbal School for Boys at Al Jahra - Kuwait. They were divided into two groups: experimental and control, 30 participants each. The experimental group were taught using inverted education while the control group received regular instruction. The instrument of the present research was an EFL reading test. Both groups were pre-post tested having administered the research instruments, the current research findings revealed that inverted education proved to have a positive effect on the development of EFL reading skills of high school students. |
