The purpose of the study of the current research is identify the reality of achieving educational effectiveness in basic education schools, and the requirements for its development in the light of contemporary trends by identifying the philosophy of educational effectiveness in educational institutions, and identifying the most important contemporary trends to achieve educational effectiveness in educational institutions, and determining the reality of educational effectiveness in basic education schools. In Sohag governorate, in addition to identifying the proposed requirements for developing educational effectiveness in basic education schools in Sohag governorate, and identifying requirements for developing educational effectiveness as an entry point for achieving quality in basic education schools in the light of contemporary educational literature. the study used a questionnaire directed to the principals, teachers and directors of basic education schools in Sohag Governorate, which numbered (600) individuals.
The study reached a set of results
Taking into account the curricula of the prevailing traditions and customs of society, Taking into account the curricula of technological and technical variables.Working to simplify science and modern innovations. The school employs all human resources to achieve the targeted outcomes. The teacher’s possession of a culture of quality and competitiveness, and the ability of the teacher to link the scientific material with the problems and issues of society, contributes to achieving educational effectiveness.
The research reached several recommendations, the most important of which were:
The school administration encourages teachers to develop their academic and research capabilities.Helping the school to strengthen the learner’s personality.The school’s contribution to inculcating learners’ self-reliance skills. The school’s keenness to reduce the number of classrooms. The school trains learners on how to employ information and communication technology. The school encourages learners to participate in sports and arts activities within the school. School support for high achieving learners. And school supports the students who are academically late by providing them with remedial activities.
