Abstract
The study was designed to evaluate the efficacy and morbidity of combining the lingual flap advancement technique by Ronda and Stacchi 2011 with the buccal flap advancement in term of amount of buccal flap advancement, amount of horizontal bone gain, and postoperative complications, including membrane exposure, pain, and swelling in 9 months follow up period during GBR using titanium mesh in the posterior mandible.
Research hypothesis:
The null hypothesis of this trial suggests that combining the lingual flap advancement technique by Ronda and Stacchi 2011 with buccal flap advancement will attain no variance in the amount of buccal flap advancement, horizontal bone gain, and postoperative complications including membrane exposure, pain and swelling when compared to the buccal flap advancement alone
