Abstract

Six Sigma methodology (DMAIC) can be effective in solving university processes where the solutions are unknown or the root causes are not determined, whereas Lean Six Sigma is an improvement methodology that is suitable to solve inefficient and ineffective university business processes. Delivering high quality with low cost is central to an organization’s success, and thinking of quality excellence as a solution, enabling culture of quality as their ways of practitioners and working committee to improve the system of higher education evaluation of 2the awareness and readiness of staffs on the selected (HEI) to apply six-sigma methodology (DMAIC), and evaluation of the differences between staffs and quality manager for perception of dimensions of six-sigma methodology (DMAIC).The study aims to illustrate the relationship between independent variable Six-Sigma Methodology (DMAIC) and the dependent variable Quality Improvement and its two dimensions (Graduation Rate, GPA rate). And measures the readiness of the staff of (HEIs) to implement methodology of six sigma (DMAIC Phases) in the corresponding (HEIs). For staff{u2019}s perceptions of (HEIs) for (DMAIC Phases) and its five Phases (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) before and after training on (DMAIC Phases)3, a comparison between staff{u2019}s perceptions of (HEIs) for (DMAIC Phases) and its five dimensions before and after Training was done in the sample and population.These results proof that staff{u2019}s perceptions for independent variable (DMAIC Phases) and its five dimensions (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve,Control) has improved, and the readiness of the staff of (HEIs) to implement methodology of six sigma (DMAIC Phases) in the corresponding (HEIs)3.This is proofed by comparison student{u2019}s GPA before and after Applying Six-Sigma Methodology (DMAIC) in Higher Education Institute (HEIs). And the comparison performed between mean of GPA
