Motives for Egyptian youth exposure to Instagram andWhat Effects of this exposure in young people Egyptian? the importance of studying: 1) Seeking to enrich media studies related to the study of social networking sites and their effects on society. 2) An attempt to shed light on the effectiveness of Instagram and its impact on various aspects of the lives of young people. 3) Trying to reach the perception through which young people see Instagram and the advantages that these young people seek to take advantage of. 4) Standing on the importance of Instagram and its impact on Egyptian youth and its impact on society as a whole. Objectives of the study: 1) Identify the most important social networking sites that the respondents follow. 2) thedetect The extent of the respondents’ interaction during exposure to the Instagram site. 3) Determine Motives for exposure of young respondents to Instagram. 4) To identify the extent of the credibility of the youth’s use of their identity during their exposure to Instagram. 5) monitor The effects of exposure of young people to the study sample to Instagram. Study type: This study belongs to the descriptive studies that aim to portray, analyze and evaluate the characteristics of a particular group, or a particular situation that is predominantly specific, with the aim of obtaining sufficient and accurate information about it without entering into its causes or judgment. Study Approach: This study is based on the survey method The survey, which aims to record, analyze and interpret the phenomenon in its current state after collecting the necessary and sufficient data about it and its elements through a set of organized procedures that determine the type of data, its source and methods of obtaining it., During this study, we seek to apply the media survey method to a sample of Egyptian youth vocabulary. Data collection tools: Survey newspaper: The survey sheet is a major tool of data and information collection, and it is one of the basic methods of collecting information directly from the selected sample In order to reveal the nature of the relationship between the use of Instagram and its effects, the form included 23 questions to collect data that measure the different dimensions and variables of the study. Study population and sample: The study community is represented by Egyptian youth, including university youth who are exposed to Instagram from three governorates (Dakahlia, Greater Cairo, Beni Suef), andA random sample of (400 individuals) Egyptian youth was selected, aged between (18-35) years - which the researcher believes is the most used category for Instagram.. Results: - The importance of social networking sites The Egyptian youth, especially the Instagram website, has a lot of follow-up by young people, which indicates the need to invest in these sites and employ them in the service of society. - The most important bases through which the followers are selected was “the relationship of kinship and friendship” where it came in the first place, followed in the second place by the “knowledge and cultural level”, and in the third place “common interests”, then comes in the fourth place “there is no standard” And in the fifth and last place ””for communication only””. - The results of the study showed that there were significant statistically significant differences with regard to male exposure to Instagram and the increase in their utilitarian motives. - It was found through the results of the study that there are inverse significant differences with a statistical significance between the behavioral effects and the educational level of the youth exposed to the Instagram website.”
