Abstract

Field experiments were carried out at horticultural of Alzanqalon Farms, Sharkia governorate, Egypt during two successive seasons (2016/1017 and 2017/2018) for studying effect of some Agrochemicals against the faba bean aphid (Aphis craccivora, Koch), leaf miner (Liromyza trifolii, Burgess), and thrips (Thrips tabaci, Lindeman) which infesting faba bean plants. The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of insecticides, adjuvants (Sylgard 309, and NPK) and their mixtures using field trials at the recommended rates against the insects tested. The results indicated that the treatments with malathion alone, malathion mixture with Sylgard 309, and NPK caused increasing reduction% gradually for population of faba bean aphid, (Aphis craccivora, Koch) and the efficacy was increased in mixture with Sylgard 309 during the experiment seasons. The same results were noticed with compound diazinon with increasing of the effective by Sylgard 309 and NPK. In addition, the results illustrated that the insecticide acetamiprid alone, mixture with adjuvants (Sylgard 309 and NPK) and Sylgard 309 alone caused increase the reduction% of faba bean aphid. while, the% reduction for the pest was increase gradually with exposure periods in Sylgard 309 applied alone. The Bio-insecticide Beauveria bassiana (Biovar) alone or mixture with Sylgard 309 and NPK caused increasing% reduction gradually for population of Aphis craccivora (Koch) infested faba bean plants during the both seasons. According to the obtained results on leaf miner, (Liromyza trifolii, Burgess), the results revealed that the compounds sub study diazinon, diazinon plus surfactant Sylgard 309 and diazinon plus NPK causing increasing of reduction% of leaf miner. The Biovar (2.3 x106 cells/ml) compound caused increasing reduction% gradually for population of leaf miner infested faba bean plants during (2016/ 1017 and 2017/2018) season. Also, the results indicated that the compounds carbosulfan alone or mixture with Sylgard 309 caused increasing reduction% gradually for population, of thrips, (Thrips tabaci, Lindeman) infested faba bean plants during the two season (2017/2018). The bio-insecticide (Beauveria bassiana, Biovar) alone or mixture with Sylgard 309 caused increasing reduction% gradually for population of thrips infested faba bean plants during 2017/2018 season. According to the influence of total protein and amino acids levels of sprayed faba bean pods by carbosulfan (Marshal 25% WP) and their binary mixtures with Sylgard 309 and NPK, the results indicated that Marshal alone and their mixture with Sylgard 309 caused changes in the total protein and amino acids concentrations in all interval periods.
