Certainly, the human being is the most valuable wealth of the developed and developing nations. Civilized countries realize the importance of caring for and taking care of children, and have even devoted their greatest attention to the degree to which the criterion of civilization and progress among nations is the amount of interest of each nation in its children, and the interest in childhood is not limited to normal children. Only, but also children with special needs, they are a group that cannot be ignored and left to live on the margins of society that used to leave them alone or work to place them in institutions of their own, and there is no doubt that the matter increases when we talk about children with autism. One of the indicators of the progress and rise of nations is the extent of the care they give to the care of their children from the beginning of their formation in the womb of their mothers until they reach the ability to bear the burdens of life. The interest in education is one of the educational aspects that the state provides to its children, especially the care of people with special needs, and the educational aspects that are provided to them, whether through the programs that the state undertakes or the civil efforts made by specialists and those dealing with different groups of people with special needs, especially the autistic children. Autism is one of the most important problems that plague society, as it is a multi-dimensional problem. Its dimensions are psychological, medical, social, economic and educational, and these dimensions overlap with each other, which makes this problem a unique model in formation. No society is free from the problem of autism, besides the deficiency in mental abilities, there are many deficiencies in the manifestations of social interaction, as it is unable to respond to the social influences directed to it, and thus tends to isolate and withdraw and this indicates the existence of a deficit of the autistic child in establishing relationships Social with others, signs of deficits in social communication appear in the child since the first months of his life, as he cannot communicate with his family, especially his mother, so he does not have the natural ability that God Almighty has given him to the normal child in attachment and attachment to his mother, father and family. Parents that the child’s interaction with them is not normal and that he has his own world. Among the groups with special needs that did not receive sufficient attention in Egypt is the category of children with autism. Autism is considered a form of behavioral disorder that is surrounded by a lot of ambiguity, whether in the causes of this disorder, methods of diagnosis or treatment methods. Egyptian psychological clinics suffer from clear deficiencies in diagnostic methods. This disorder, as they may diagnose children as having mental retardation. A child with autism suffers from several problems, the most important of which are: the lack of communication between him and the outside world, and as a result of this lack of communication, the autistic child suffers from some social and emotional problems while communicating with ordinary people, and the most important of these problems are social avoidance, social isolation, and a lack of communication. Verbal and non-verbal, as a result of the characteristics, his impediment and his lack of experience related to how to communicate well with others. Recreational and recreational activities are considered to have positive consequences on the life of the individual in general and the children of autism in particular, as it helps him in resurrecting and renewing his energies, as it greatly contributes to the evaluation of the behavior of individuals and their involvement in groups and interaction with them, and then improving relations with others, especially helping the child to get out of the circle Narcissism and self-centeredness to link the relationship with others, so integrating an autistic child into society teaches him cooperation and self-confidence, learning compatibility with what is individual and what is social, and gaining the ability to normalize social behavior as well as taking out excess and aggressive energy, especially in adolescence, so that the child feels balance between the two sides Psychological and physical, thus it contributes to alleviating the severity of autism disease and symptoms. The need of the autistic child for recreational activities makes him search day after day for a life rich in meanings, joy and happiness, a life characterized by balance and therefore the philosophy of recreation as one of the aspects of daily life from an automatic natural expression of some of the interests and needs of the autistic child changes, but is modified through the practice of recreational activities, especially in communication In others, recreational and recreational activity satisfies the desire to communicate with others and interact with them, as it contributes to the development of social skills and knowledge of the autistic child who practices his activities, and then the recreation contributes to the development and development of the personality of the autistic child. And if recreational sporting activity is important and constitutes an essential focus of the lives of ordinary children, then it is more appropriate for it to be a field of raising and caring for an autistic child, if we find all the educational process and methods used in raising this category are based mainly on play, activity and movement in order to prepare it to occupy its place In the world as a respected individual within the limits of his personal capabilities, giving him the opportunity to develop his physical, mental and social capabilities and to face the demands of environmental, material and moral life. Based on the foregoing, the study problem arose through the manifestations of deficiencies in social skills that children with autism suffer from and the resulting behavioral disorders that impede their integration into the surrounding society, which prompted the researcher to study the role of recreational activities in improving social interaction, where Achieving social interaction is one of the biggest problems facing researchers when dealing with these children ..
