Abstract Liver injury is a common response to variable causes; infection with HCV or HBV, excessive alcohol consumption, side effects of some medications and drugs and prolonged exposure to environmental toxin and xenobiotics .Chemotherapy is a powerful treatment and used widely against several types of liver injuries such as cisplatin. Anew family of Titanium (IV) compounds were introduced as anticancer drug due to their low intrinsic toxicity and cytotoxicity toward cisplatin-resistant cells. Due to its several side effects, studies on the pharmacological mechanisms of nanotechnology, which responsible for liver injury treatment were, caught great interest. Nanomedicines (or nanotherapeutics) are usually intended as miniaturized delivery systems, which aim to improve the therapeutic efficiency of currently available chemotherapeutic agents, combining them with a nanoscale delivery component. |
