Abstract

The deformation of some algebraic structures and its consequence in physics has been studied in this thesis, like the Discreteness of flat and curved spacetime as a consequence of the deformation of Hiesenberg algebra. Some applications of a suggested form of unified statistics for Fermions and Bosons has been studies in High Temperature Superconductors. It has been shown that the behavior of quantum particles assuming discreteness of the spacetime at very low scale is similar to the behavior of Anyons, and by replacing the Fermi statistics with some suggested Anyonic statistics, then one can has a reasonable explanation of the high temperature superconductivity phenomena. In this thesis, we suggest another point of view, which is both deformed algebra and deformed statistics can be considered as a consequence of the discreteness of the spacetime. The main hypothesis in this thesis is that the observers’ view of spacetime may differ according to their measurement scale, i.e., one observer can see the spacetime as continuous one, and the other can see the spacetime as discrete or even fractal .
