Abstract
Twenty seven dogs admitted to Pet. animal Clinic of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University during 2018 to 2020 to investigate different changes in CBC, biochemistry of blood serum and ultrasonography in gastroenteritis cases.
Comparative clinical and therapeutic study was applied to detect effect of administration of Famotidine in addition to classical regimen of treatment of such cases.
This study revealed that administration of Famotidine addition to classical treatments enhanced early recover at 3-5th day while cases treated without Famoitidine recover obtained at 5-7th day.
