Abstract Unexplained infertility is usually a diagnosis of exclusion. Thus, there must be an absence of an identifiable cause of infertility despite thorough testing and medical investigation demonstrating tubal patency, normal semen parameters, regular ovulation, normal ovarian reserve, and a normal endometrian cavity. Failed ovum pick up should be considered one of the important causes of unexplained infertility, correction of fimbrio-ovarian relation to make ovum pick up possiple, should be considered in treating such cases. Evaluation of the tubo ovarian relation with laparoscopy for patient with unexplained infertility who desire spontaneous pregnancy. It appear from the present study that nealy half of the cases of so called unexplained infertiliy are due to tubo-ovarian relation defects which pass unnoticed if not observed with great care during laparoscopy. The main object of the corrective procedure are to get free mobile fallopian tube along with satisfactory tubo-ovaian relation. Small defects in the appearance of tubo ovarian relation are rarely mentioned in published studies. Hence the present study was designed to evaluate the tubo-ovarian relation in unexplained infertility by laparoscopy. The present study evaluated tubo ovarian relation by laparoscopy in unexplained infertility.The study was conducted on 30 cases with the mean age was 28.07 years,with 36.7% of them above 30 years and 63.3% less than 30 years, mean BMI was 21.90. |
