Abstract

Mycotic mastitis is adisease caused by fungi ranging from 2-13% the total mastitic cases.Candida and Aspergillus species were the most fungi isolated from a total of 150 milk samples collected from Giza and Minufiya governorates. Identification to the isolates by traditional , Biochemical and Molecular methods was performed. Some fungal cells canot grow on the culture coping with the stressful environmental conditions and known as VBNC ,those cells were detected depending on thr Real time PCR and Propidium mono azide stain .
Key words: Mycotic, Mastitis, Fungi, VBNC, RT-PCR
