Abstract This study aims to search for and study ring-like events and, more generally, the events with a high density of charged particles from proton-proton (pp) collisions at different window sizes of pseudorapidity using the maximum track density method from the real and simulation views. The importance of this study appeared when scientists searched for evidence for the formation of the Quark-Gluon Plasma and for what is termed Cherenkov gluon radiation. We applied the same technique for the real and Monte Carlo data. We simulated the pp collisions using HERWIG and PYTHIA at 2.36, 7, 8 and 13 TeV in the simulation part. Furthermore, in the real data part, we used the most released data: the run 2018 of the CMS detector at 13 TeV. We found using MC data that the relation between the number of events (N) with the maximum number of charged particles (n_{ch}), is exponentially decreasing with increasing of n_{ch}. The real data support this observation; besides, some special jet-like events were observed. Furthermore, we notice that the relation between the average of the maximum number of charged particle increases linearly charged multiplicity and almost independent on energy, which extends the previous work but at a highly-energetic pp collisions medium, i.e. from previously 22-900 GeV to now from 22 GeV to 14 TeV. |
