The aim of the study is to analyze the characteristics of housing and buildings in residential areas in Ahmadi Governorate, and show the variation of spatial characteristics, and the most important results of this study: It was found that there is a great variation in housing patterns in the governorate due to several reasons: The difference in the percentage of population distribution in the areas of Al-Ahmadi Governorate, and the difference in the population size of the study areas, The diversity of population density in the areas of Al-Ahmadi Governorate, and the increase in the number of non-Kuwaiti residents compared to Kuwaitis in most residential areas. As it turned out, there are many types of housing in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, the apartment category came with the highest percentage, then the entire floor category and the villa category, and the percentage of duplex apartments decreased, and there was a noticeable decrease in the popular house and palace categories.Housing differed according to ownership.
