Abstract
Hair pigmentation is more than just a component of cosmetic appearance, it is,sometimes an indicator for a more serious condition ranging from stress or vitamin deficiency to a critical syndrome with multisystem affection. Early detection of these conditions allows early treatment and better family counselling which improves the overall outcome.
