Abstract
In conclusion, being working as a senior specialist in the Forensic Laboratories
of Ministry of Interior in the State of Kuwait, analyses have been made for the
sake of the present study on a specific number of samples of heroin and tramadol,
all of which were collected from the cases received by NPSS (Narcotics and
Psychotropic Section), including fifty samples of heroin in 5102, fifty samples of
heroin in 5107 all in powder form, and fifty samples in different shapes and
colors of tramadol all in tablets form, in order to determine the fundamental
changes in heroin purity and adulterates taking place after three years of an earlier
study carried out on 21 samples by the present Ph.D. Student in 5105 (Alabkal et
al., 5102).
Also, tablets have been recorded the development of narcotic substances in the
State of Kuwait, especially tramadol to determine the extent of their use with or
without heroin by addicts.
