Abstract
The main objective of this research is to design and develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist project owners in selecting the most appropriate Project Delivery Method, Tendering Method and Contract Type. Twenty-two factors have an impact on the selection process were determined. A survey questionnaire was then designed and distributed to a sample represent consultant experts engineers. A Sensitivity Analysis (SA) was conducted to analyze the impact factors on the selection of appropriate PDM. The lack of awareness of DSS among the project parties was the main reason leading to rare implementation of the DSS in Egyptian construction projects.
