Crime is a social phenomenon that has been associated with man since his presence on the face of the earth, and hardly any human society is devoid of it. Political, cultural and others. The contribution of women to crime in general reflects an image that is not befitting of the status of women who have granted social, political and economic rights, who represent half of society and are entrusted with the largest and most important tasks of social upbringing for generations. There is no doubt that women’s crimes are a social phenomenon worthy of study, and its importance is no less than other social phenomena in which women played a prominent role by defining their identity and their new roles in society. This is because it clearly affects the security and stability of society to a degree that is no less influential than men’s crimes. For her role - that is, women - in raising and preparing generations, and the criminal mother may have more influence on her sons and daughters than the criminal father, and then the problem of the current study revolves around the study of women’s crimes and the motives behind their commission, as well as their causes, and then identifying their risks to the family in general and children in particular. Hence the community college. Objectives of the study :1- Identify patterns (forms) of crime for women.2- Identify the reasons why women have committed the crime.3- Exposing the risks of women’s crimes on the family in general and children in particular.4- Exposing the risks of women’s crimes on society.5-Knowing the role of governmental institutions and civil societies in providing care for children of female prisoners. Within the framework of the main objective of the study, which is to try to reveal the social risks of women’s crimes and their effects on children, we see that they fall under the type of studies (descriptive and analytical). As for the study tools, they are the questionnaire form, the case study, the interview guide, where the questionnaire was applied to a sample of Children of female prisoners and the community consisted of (186) singles, and this was randomly from different age groups. The cases were also selected from the prisoners in Mansoura Public Prison, their number (10) cases in a deliberate manner according to their different ages and crimes. The researcher also interviewed many prison officials and their number (10) To learn about some of the systems inside it.Main results of the study: The results of the study indicated the most types of crimes committed by women, as it came in the first order (self and honor crimes, second order (money crimes), and third (electronic crimes. The results of the study confirmed the multiplicity of reasons that drive women to commit crimes, including social, economic, health, and psychological reasons, and other reasons that lead women to follow the path of crime and delinquency.
• The results of the study indicated the negative effects on children as a result of the woman’s commission of the crime, as it came in the first order (ostracization and stigmatization by society), in the second order (lack of ambition and the absence of ideals and role models within the family), in the third order (direction to criminality) and in the fourth order (calibration The others have them) and in the fifth order (children suffering from psychological, behavioral problems and personality deficiencies). The results of the study showed that the exacerbation of the phenomenon of women’s crimes in society results in a set of social effects and repercussions that come as the crimes of women represent a danger to the family on the one hand, and their impact on society on the other hand, as the crime of women is considered one of the most dangerous social phenomena because women are an active member of society And that any deviation in her behavior may leave its effects on society, and the lack of interest in the phenomenon of female criminality leads to the spread of this phenomenon significantly in society. The results of the study showed that civil society institutions and charities have a role in caring for the children of female prisoners, as they organize monthly visits to the prison, and provide care to a large number of female prisoners by distributing aid from food, clothes, medicines, diapers, juices and biscuits for children, as well as providing monthly money transfers to prisoners who do not They provide them with any aid, and it tries to remove the stigma of former prisoners and their children, train and teach them different trades, and link them to the labor market, in addition to psychological and social care, which prepares them for a new healthy life that does not bring them back to crime again and have mercy on their children. Study Recommendations:1- Spreading awareness, education, and religious and family education in the ranks of the community through programs of social and psychological counseling and counseling.2-Spreading legal and legal awareness among the community and women in particular, to prevent delinquency and crime.3-Finding clear and effective rehabilitation programs for female prisoners based on their implementation by specialists in their respective fields, whether from a social or psychological point of view.4- Improving the conditions of female prisoners inside the prison in a manner consistent with human rights laws and not inconsistent with societal values and customs.5-Taking care of the children of female prisoners and providing them with assistance and not being ostracized by society.
