Abstract
This study aimed to determine Beclin-1, LC-3, ATG-5 and IL-10 genesexpression in the PBMCs of SLE patients and their relationship with SLEDAI and C3 and C4 levels and to investigate the SNP rs573775 in ATG-5 gene and its association with SLE susceptibility and Beclin-1, LC3, ATG-5 and IL-10 genes expression.
This study included 70patients with SLE; admitted to Rheumatology unit of Internal Medicine Department in Assiut University Hospital from July 2018 to July 2019 and 30 ages and sex matched healthy subjects.
