Abstract
Used as a non nutritive sweetener in many worldwide countries. It is used as feed additive in diet food products and diet drink. Also, aspartame is used by the diabetics and people in different diets. It has been reported that there are potential side effects with the aspartame consumption on many organs in the humans and experimental animals. Garlic (Allium Sativum L) among the oldest cultivated plants which are used as food and for medicinal application. It is known since long time ago and has been used by the ancient Egyptians in the treatment of and preventing various diseases, and it is used as important food of the Mediterranean diet. It is available as powder, capsules, tablets, liquids and oil. Also, garlic is known to have antioxidant properties and act as scavengers against free radical.
