Abstract The problem of this study was stated as follows: ” There is a difficulty in EFL students’ language use in communicative contexts”. The sample of the study consisted of 90 male second year secondary stage students. The study adopted the quasi- experimental approach. The study led to the result that the experimental group students outperformed their counterparts of the control group students on the post discourse completion test, which means that the proposed CMC program was effective in developing the second year secondary stage students’ pragmatic competence and perceptions. |
