The study of rural societies are one of the basic features of studies of anthropology in the 20 century which is interested by other sciences but in 1929 the Anthropology started studying the rural community as it is a kind of communities that connects between rural and city society.
Anthropologist care about magic science and give due care to it.
Taylor treated this subject in his book primitive culture 1871 fritz cared about magic in his famous book the ”golden branch” 1890.
In his theory about magic and religion، he sees that magic is a liar method. Evans in his study science and magic and religion.
Magic is one of the oldest believes known by Man. There are no people on earth neglect it in the past as in present. Some people think that traditional societies which practices magic need to believe strongly in hidden powers so they belief in magic to reduce this fear if they feel that they don’t control a situation for example some traditional societies use knowledge and skill when they grow plants.
They know that climate and insects and pets may destroy crops. Besides they may make practice ruitual action to increase the yield.
Therefore، science and magic can live together in a society or in one mind if this mind adopts science or magic.
from here، this research focuses on the importance of studying the magic and magical action in the rural society and its symbolism.This research depends on many theories which care about magic and gives more explanation and analyses. There are many theories which study magic. So، this research presents some of the theories like functional structural knowledgeable approach، symbolic approach.
Each theory has been presented briefly and their important cases.
