Abstract The aims of this study were to present parkour motions in biomechanics and focus on and analyze standing long jump motion (Precision jump) by identifying the optimum takeoff angle in this motion. A simple model of force generation in the takeoff phase taken from a scientific paper was able to explain the observed decrease in takeoff speed with increasing takeoff angle, and the takeoff and landing configurations of the jumper were explained by geometrical models. Artificial neural network model were built to simulate the motion with the different parameters of the player such as his weight, the takeoff angle, takeoff speed, the takeoff distance and takeoff force exerted on the ground. The designed model show better predict the performance of the players and be used for improving it. |
