المستخلص The research of emotional intelligence, transformational leadership, &job satisfaction have received limited focus from academic at arabian studies.The purpose of this study was to investigate transformational leadership as a mediator between leader `s emotional intelligence, and employees ` job satisfaction at Minya University hospitals.50 leaders and 334 employees participated in the study at 3 university hospitals at Minya. The study required implementation of a composite survey consisting of (EIFP) (Emotional Intelligence Profile Questionnaire ) to measure leader `s emotional intelligence ,(MLQ) (Multi Leadership Questionnaire) to measure transformational leadership,&( JJS) to measure employees `job satisfaction. The study results indicated no difference of independence variable(emotional intelligence) among the hospitals, no difference of mediator variable (transformational leadership ) among the hospitals ,but there is a difference of dependence variable (job satisfaction ) among the hospitals.The study results also indicated a statistical significant positive correlation between leader`s emotional intelligence and its four factors (self awareness, self management, social awareness,& relationships management) and transformational leadership.The study results indicated a statistical significant positive correlation between transformational leadership and its four factors (inspirational motivation ,idealized influence ,intellectual stimulation, &individual consideration) and employees job satisfaction.There is also a statistical significant direct positive correlation between leader`s emotional intelligence and employees`job satisfaction, and a statistical significant indirect positive correlation between leader `s emotional intelligence. Therefore, it is recommended that university hospitals critically evaluate leader `s emotional intelligence when hiring and promoting leaders, consider transformational leadership style as it fits university hospitals ,&provide specialized programs to advance emotional competences and skills.
