Abstract
Patients have difficulty discussing sexual dysfunction (decreased libido and anorgasmia) and acknowledging decreased libido may be particularly difficult.
Successful management of the complex interrelationship between sexual dysfunction and depression is needed to improve clinical outcomes. Therefore this study aimed to assess the sexual function among female with major depressive disorder, investigate the sexual quality of life in female patients diagnosed with major depressive disorder and to find out the relation between the sexual functioning and the sexual quality of life, and the relation with depression.
We hypothesized that there is a relation between major depressive disorder and sexual functioning in female subjects.
