Abstract This study was conducted in private poultry farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, and genetics department lab at Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University during the 2015/2016 season. The native breed (Fayoumi, Dandarawi and Sinai) were used in this study. Number of 40 laying hens from each strain were selected at the age of 35 weeks (three replicates), data was taken for egg productivity, quality of eggs and feed conversion rate for 45 days; once every two weeks. Blood samples were collected randomly for biochemical analysis (calcium, phosphorus and total protein) and studying the relationship of those components with qualities productivity in the three strains under study. The isolated DNA from blood was manipulated for molecular marker analysis (SSR) using selected 10 primers. Primers were selected from a previous reviewer based on association with some of the qualities of the production and egg quality traits, so the comparison between the three strains to reach the degree of convergence of traits under study and associated with some markers. |
