Abstract

This study aims to detect the effect of immunosuppressant (lector) on the health and response of chicken immunosuppressant to immunization by mycoplasma vaccine in broiler chickens.
To reach these points 250 chick were used at one day of age and were divided into five groups (50 in each group).
All groups were treated with treatments as in Table (2) as the following, first group was treated with Lector from the first day of age until the 15th day and immunized with mycoplasma gallaipticum vaccine on the 7th day old, the second group was treated with Lector from the first day until the seventh day and immunized with mycoplasma vaccine at seventh day and the third group were treated with Lector from the first day to the seventh without vaccination by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and the fourth group was not treated with Lector throughout the experiment and was immunized by Mycoplasma septicum vaccine. At the seventh day and the ruling group did not address Lector or barricaded themselves by fortifying Mycoplasma Septicum until end of experiment. Challenge with Mycoplasma gallisepticum has been done to all at 42 day of age with a half mm as an infection through the trachea of each bird. This experiment lasted for six weeks during which the following:
Weight of birds and collection of blood samples to check the promise of white blood cells weekly, as well as the collection of blood samples for examination of vaccines for the study different changes. Immunological examination was done using the ELIZA test and the collection of samples of spleen and thymus glands on both sides of the neck for weight.
Firstly, evaluation the effect of lector on weights of chicks immunized by vaccine of mycoplasma and non-immune, which showed that groups 1-2-3 higher weight (1611-1480 - 1410) grams respectively and untreated groups (4,5) 1280-1160 g at age 35 days. These results shows that the first group treated with lector for two weeks showed higher weights than the second and third group treated with lector for one week only

Second: Effect of the lector on the ferocious gland showed vaccinated and fortified broiler chicks higher than in the groups treated with the lector 1-2-3 and 1.540-2.184-1.911 gram at the age of 35 days for groups 4.5 untreated 1.882-1.760 grams
Third: the effect of lector on the spleen in fortified and non-fortified broiler chicks where showed no clear differences between treated and non-treated groups. The results showed that the treated groups 1-2-3 were highest at day 35 with higher results (7.67-7.1- 7.1 g) compared with the untreated 4.5 groups (5.8-5.8 gram)
Fifth: The effect of lector on the total number of white blood cells in fortified and unprotected broiler chicks where showed an average percentage of treated groups 1-2-3 (10.5.9.8-9), respectively, compared to untreated groups 4-5 (8.8-8.2(. The results showed that the treated groups (1-2) showed higher rates in the neutrophils (32-27) than in the non-immune treatment group (24) and control group (23), and the number of lymphocytes was higher in the group (1-2) treated and immunized (63.71) from other groups at the age of 35 days.
Seventh: Effect of lector on immunity, where serum examination by ELISA test showed an increase in immunoglobulin in immunocompromised serotonin serotypes 1,2-2 (1.432 -1.322) from untreated immunized groups (940(
To determine the protection rate of mycoplasma, the challenge test was performed. A high degree of protection was observed in the immunotherapy groups (1 - 2) without symptoms, while the untreated immune groups (4) showed mild respiratory symptoms. On the other hand, non-immune treatment groups (3) showed moderate symptoms compared to non-immunized immune systems (5), which showed severe symptoms such as respiratory distress, difficulty in breathing, and sinus swelling.
All later results has been shown that the usage of lector as a immunogenic stimulant increases the overall health status, gaining weight in herds of broiler chicks and reducing the mortality rate as well as improving the unearned immunity.
