المستخلص The Islamic world faces great challenges in various political, social and economic fields, especially those that affect its cultural and civilizational identity and attempts to breach the cultural identity of the child through the cultural alienation of the child through the media, which is confined to excitement and influence because of the advanced technological methods. Here comes the role of children’s magazines in the formation of the cultural identity of the child as it is a cultural and educational tool owned by the child, and the transfer and instilling values and principles and behaviors and supports them positively and negatively, and it is the child ideas and values and virtues that Confirm and convince them through its interesting and attractive topics. The theory of cultural implantation shows that the media, especially children’s magazines, can play their part in planting through repetitive exposure of children to the magazine and also by intensifying the publication of specific subjects. Thus, they can identify the children’s awareness of the facts, norms, values and prevailing in society; Children’s magazines develop a child’s belief that the world he sees in children’s magazines is a picture similar to the reality in which he lives. Hence, we see the importance of studying the relationship between children’s magazines printed in the form of cultural identity of the Egyptian child in the framework of a study of the theory of cultural implantation. the statement of the Problem The study problem is determined in the main question: What is the relationship between the printed children’s magazines and the cultural identity of the Egyptian child? 2 English Summary Study Questions: Analytical study questions: A)questions about the form (how it was said): 1- What are the editorial arts used in the children’s magazines under study regarding the formation of the cultural identity of the Egyptian child? 2- What are the means of highlighting used in the children’s magazines in question regarding the formation of the cultural identity of the Egyptian child? B ) questions about the content (what was said): 1- What are the topics focused on the children’s magazines under study? 2- What are the language levels used in the children’s magazines under study? 3- What are the positive aspects that the topics in the children’s magazines in question seek to support? 4- How did the children’s magazines dealt with the subject of forming the cultural identity of the Egyptian child? Field study questions: 1- What is the extent to which children are exposed to children’s magazines or not? 2- What causes children not to read children’s magazines? 3- What are the sources of children’s access to magazines? 4- What places do children prefer to read their magazines? 5- What are the habits and patterns of children’s exposure to children’s magazines? 6- How long does it take children to browse their magazines? 7- What topics do children prefer to read in children’s magazines? 8- What are the most important cultural materials that the child 3 English Summary 9- prefers to follow in children’s magazines? 10- To what extent do children follow the issues of cultural identity in children’s magazines? 11- What is the contribution of children’s magazines in shaping the cultural identity of the Egyptian child? the significance of the study : This study draws on its importance on the relationship between children’s magazines printed in the form of the cultural identity of the Egyptian child and the importance of the age stage that she is studying, which is the late childhood period (9-12 years). the Aims of the study : This study aims to identify the role of children’s magazines in shaping the cultural identity of the Egyptian child (9-12 years). The Methodology of the study : Type of the study: This study belongs to the descriptive studies that aim at determining the characteristics of a particular phenomenon or a particular position that is characterized by specificity. The Method of the study : The study used the media survey method. The Society of the study : The society of the analytical study is in the Egyptian printed children’s magazines. The current field study society consists of primary school students from 9-12 years of age. They are students in the fourth, fifth and sixth primary grades. The study aims to identify the relationship between children’s magazines printed by the cultural identity of the Egyptian child . The sample of the study: The sample of the analytical study is the analysis of two magazines for children (Samir magazine and Aladdin magazine), and they reached 20 number, 10 numbers per 4 English Summary magazine, from January 2016 to December 2016. The sample consisted of (400) pupils and pupils of primary schools in grades 4, 5 and 6 in Qalubia (Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq School in Shablanga, Al- Baqashin Elementary School in Kafr Shukr) Mubarak Zagazig - Shafiq Khattab elementary school in Qatifah Aziziyah). |
