Using Intelligent Building Envelopes
for Energy Conservation in Egypt the comfort and energy conservation of the building. It olso includes a
field study of some buildings in the Smart Village to clarify the type of
facades used in the modern buildings on the local level and to find out the
reasons for non-proliferation of intelligent building envelopes on the local
level.
The thesis concluded the impact of using intelligent building
envelopes on the comfort and energy conservation of buildings; besides
determination the relationship between the complexity and intelligence of
the envelope and the rate of energy conservation. The thesis provided
some recommendations for using this type of intelligent building
envelopes on the local level.
